Privacy Policy

SOURCEDIUM ("we", "us", "our") operates the AI-assisted procurement platform at sourcedium.com and partners.sourcedium.com, connecting buyers with suppliers in India. This policy explains what information we collect, why, and how you can control it.

1. Information we collect

We collect the following categories of information when you use SOURCEDIUM:

  • Account information: your name, email address, and password, or the name/email/profile information Google shares with us if you sign in with Google.
  • Business and sourcing information: company details and the requirement information you provide -- product, specification, quantity, destination, and budget.
  • Verification (KYC) information: business registration and compliance documents submitted for buyer KYC review.
  • Procurement records: requirements, RFQs, supplier quotations, negotiations, commercial decisions, orders, shipping addresses, and order status history.
  • Communications: messages exchanged with our sourcing team, and notifications or emails sent to you through the platform.
  • Supplier and logistics-partner information: company name, contact name, contact email, and related business details for suppliers and logistics partners engaged through the platform.
  • Technical information: standard web request data (such as IP address and browser type) used for security and rate-limiting.

2. How we use your information

We use your information to operate your account and provide the sourcing and procurement service; to match your requirement to suppliers and manage the RFQ, quotation, negotiation, order, and shipment process; to conduct buyer KYC review before a procurement proceeds to quotation; to send transactional emails and in-app notifications about your sourcing activity; and to improve and secure the platform.

We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not sell your personal information.

3. AI processing

SOURCEDIUM uses AI models (currently OpenAI and/or Google Gemini) to help interpret and structure the sourcing requirement you describe, and, for specific factual or current-information questions, a web search service to retrieve public information. Your conversation content is sent to these providers to generate a response. Commercial decisions -- which supplier, which quotation, whether to place an order -- are always made by you or SOURCEDIUM's staff, never automatically by the AI.

4. Who we share information with

We share information only as needed to run the platform:

  • Service providers: Supabase (database and authentication), OpenAI and Google (AI processing), Resend (transactional email delivery), and Google (Sign in with Google).
  • Suppliers and logistics partners: the specific business information needed to solicit a quotation or fulfill an order (for example, your requirement details or shipping address) is shared with the supplier or logistics partner engaged for that specific procurement.
  • Legal requirements: if required to comply with applicable law or a valid legal request.

5. Data retention

We retain your account and procurement records for as long as your account is active, and afterward for as long as needed to comply with legal, accounting, or dispute-resolution obligations. You may request deletion of your account and associated personal information at any time (see "Your rights" below), subject to records we are required to keep.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission (HTTPS), access controls, and role-based permissions restricting staff access to what's needed for their role. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

7. International data transfers

SOURCEDIUM connects buyers with suppliers in India, and some of our service providers process data in the United States or other countries. By using the platform, you understand your information may be processed outside your own country.

8. Your rights

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to access, correct, or request deletion of your personal information, or to object to certain processing. To exercise any of these rights, contact us at mails.finaz@gmail.com.

9. Children's privacy

SOURCEDIUM is a business-to-business platform and is not directed at, or intended for use by, children. We do not knowingly collect information from children.

10. Cookies and local storage

We use browser local storage to keep you signed in and to remember an in-progress guest sourcing session before you create an account. We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics cookies.

11. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy as the platform evolves. We will update the "Last updated" date above when we do; continued use of the platform after a change constitutes acceptance of the updated policy.
